Terms of use

• You must give accurate details and keep your password private.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised.
• Accounts are personal. Please do not share your login with others.

When you enrol, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to view the course for your own study. Access lasts for the period stated on the course page. If none is stated, access continues for as long as the course remains available on the academy.

We may update, reorganise or retire course material to keep it accurate. If we withdraw a course you have paid for, we will offer you a comparable course or a refund.

Prices are shown on each course page and include any taxes we are required to collect. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

All lessons, readings, quizzes, meditations, images and the Runes Academy name belong to Runes Academy or its licensors. You may not copy, record, resell, publish or share course material, or use it to train AI systems, without our written permission. Quoting short extracts with credit for study or review is fine.

Work you create and submit remains yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to you and to your instructors so we can run the course.

Please treat the academy and its community with respect. You agree not to:

• harass, threaten or discriminate against others, or use the runes or related symbols to promote hatred or extremism;
• upload unlawful, harmful or infringing material;
• attempt to access other accounts, probe or disrupt the site, or bypass access controls;
• scrape or bulk-download course content.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we will explain why where we can.

Our courses are educational and cultural. We cannot promise specific results, and what you take from them is your own responsibility. See the educational disclaimer.

We provide the site and courses with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of [Governing jurisdiction], and the courts there have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in your own country.
